BERGEN COUNTY GOLF SEASON BACK IN FULL SWING

All 6 public county courses open for play, and online tee times available for booking

HACKENSACK, NJ — Bergen County Executive, James Tedesco III, and the Board of Commissioners, are excited to announce that all Bergen County-owned and operated golf courses are open for play! The Bergen County Parks System boasts six, expansive golf courses, from the Darlington course in Mahwah, to the Overpeck course in Teaneck. Each course brings its own unique identity to the field that offers different challenges for beginners and pros alike. Hundreds of thousands of golfers come to enjoy our courses every year, with 2025 alone hosting over 335,000 rounds of golf.

“We’re excited for this year’s season,” said County Executive Jim Tedesco. “So many folks in-and-out of Bergen always look forward to the golf season and we are happy to welcome everyone back for another great year! We’re especially excited for the long-awaited opening of Overpeck Golf Course Clubhouse, which is expected to open in late spring of this year.”

“Bergen County’s golf courses are a true gem for residents and visitors alike,” said Commissioner Chairman Steve Tanelli. “We’re thrilled to invite everyone back for a season of fun, friendly competition, and time spent outdoors.”

All golfers, whether beginner, amateur, or professional are welcome to enjoy the unique experience of each golf course. Registering for membership is highly encouraged, as the golfing prices for members can be up to 50% lower than those for non-registered golfers.

Golfers can register for a membership by filling out the form linked at http://golfbergencounty.com/registration/ and bringing the form to the Golf Main Office, located at Soldier Hill Golf Course, Emerson. New memberships must be issued in-person.
