Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco and the Bergen County Board of Commissioners announce that the Bergen County Division of Community Transportation will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. regarding the County’s application for funding through NJ TRANSIT’s Senior Citizens and Disabled Residents Transportation Assistance Program (SCDRTAP).

The County of Bergen and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center recently broke ground on a new facility designed to support families across generations. Slated to open in 2027 on Bergen New Bridge Medical Center’s campus, the building will house a childcare program, community physician offices and the future Bergen County Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Center.
