BERGEN250 POSTPONES BAYLOR MASSACRE MEMORIAL CEREMONY
County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of Commissioners, the County Parks Department’s Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs announces that after careful consideration of this weekend’s anticipated weather, the Memorial Ceremony to mark the 248th anniversary of the Baylor Massacre has been postponed.
BERGEN COUNTY UNVEILS VISION FOR FUTURE OF COUNTY ZOO
Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of County Commissioners, and the Bergen County Parks Department today announced the completion of a new Storybook Master Plan outlining a long-term vision for the Bergen County Zoo, including new and expanded animal habitats, enhanced educational opportunities, and improvements designed to strengthen the visitor experience and advance animal care.
3rd ANNUAL BERGEN ALL-STAR JAZZ BLAST AT WORTENDYKE BARN
(HACKENSACK, NJ) – Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, III and the Board of Commissioners invite the public to attend the Bergen All-Star Blast on Sunday, September 27, from 4pm– 6:30pm at the Wortendyke Barn Museum, a County Historic Site (13 Pascack Rd, Park Ridge, NJ). This is the third concert in the 2026 music series.
Bergen County to Host Annual Senior Picnic Festival on September 24 at Van Saun Park in Paramus
County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of Commissioners, and the County’s Division of Senior Services under the Department of Human Services invite the public to the County’s Annual Senior Picnic Festival in the Park which will be held on Thursday, September 24 at Van Saun Park in Paramus, N.J. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
MOODY’S REAFFIRMS BERGEN COUNTY’S Aaa RATING, ASSIGNS MIG 1 TO COUNTY-GUARANTEED NOTES
Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco, III and the Board of County Commissioners are proud to announce that Moody’s Ratings has once again reaffirmed Bergen County’s prestigious Aaa credit rating, the highest rating awarded by the agency, citing the County’s growing economy, strengthening financial position, and solid financial management.
