TEDESCO TESTIFIES IN SUPPORT OF COMMUNITY COLLEGES
On Tuesday, March 19, Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco III testified in support of community colleges at the State Senate’s Public Budget Hearing, held at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark.
2024 Bergen County Soup-er Bowl Collects 6500 Cans for Local Food Pantries
While the Kansas City Chiefs were once again crowned the NFL’s best after defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58, a new champion emerged in the 2nd Annual Bergen County Soup-er Bowl – a team led by the students of Bergen County Academies and the Institute for Science and Technology at Northern Valley Regional High School! Collecting 4700 cans, the BCA team defeated their rivals in the Bergen County Technical School District – Bergen Tech Teterboro, Paramus Tech and Applied Tech High Schools – and eclipsed the total number of cans collected by all schools in last year’s competition.
TEDESCO DELIVERS 10th ANNUAL STATE OF THE COUNTY ADDRESS
Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco, III delivered his 10th Annual State of the County Address on Wednesday, February 28th before an audience of county representatives, employees, and members of the general public at the Two Bergen County Plaza administration building in Hackensack.

GETHSEMANE CEMETERY OPEN THIS WEEKEND
In recognition of Black History Month, the Bergen County Department of Parks, Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs (DCHA) invites the public to the historic Gethsemane Cemetery site in Little Ferry this weekend on Saturday, February 24th and Sunday, February 25th from 11am-2pm, for self-guided tours.
