Tedesco, III, the County Board of Commissioners, and the Bergen County Department of Human Services announce that the County’s Division of Senior Service/ADRC’s Annual Fall Caregivers Conference will take place on Saturday, Saturday, October 14, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the County Administration Building in the 5th floor Commissioners’ Meeting Room, One Bergen County Plaza, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Admission to the conference is free but advanced registration is encouraged.

Bergen County Addiction Recovery Program (ARP)
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has had an increasingly negative impact on the numbers of deaths due to Opioid overdose. But the Bergen County Addiction Recovery Program (ARP) is ready to help and is fully operational during this crisis. It is operating remotely by continuing to offer the following free services to any Bergen County residents who need help:
* Evaluation and referral to appropriate level of treatment;
* Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs; and
* Individual Substance Abuse Counseling.

Emergency Rental Relief Program
Since June 2021, the County of Bergen has been providing financial relief to eligible Bergen County residents who have been unable to pay their rent and/or utility payment due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
