Yesterday on Thursday October 10th, East Rutherford officials, in partnership with Bergen County and state leadership, announced the next steps in the development of the Carlton Hill Greenway and the planned Lois Lane Athletic Complex.

Bergen County is proud to announce the 61st Annual Art in the Park, a free outdoor art exhibit and concert that showcases the vibrant and diverse artistic talent across the region. The event will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM at Van Saun County Park in Paramus.

The Bergen250 Program, through the Bergen County Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs, will be its second installment its Fall Series of Revolutionary War Roundtable presentations. History enthusiasts and curious minds alike are invited to a compelling evening presentation on one of New Jersey’s pivotal Revolutionary War battles. On Tuesday, October 8th at 7:00 PM, local historian Bob Gula will lead an engaging discussion on the Battle of Springfield (1780), shedding light on its strategic significance and legacy.

The Bergen250 Program, through the Bergen County Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs, will be hosting 5 events throughout the month of October which will highlight both Bergen County’s Revolutionary History and its cultural contributions since our founding.
