County Executive Tedesco, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners, and the Department of Human Services, Division of Veterans Services invite members of the media and the general public to attend Bergen County’s Annual POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 12:30 PM in the Piazza of the Bergen County Administration Building.
Bergen County to Host Annual Senior Picnic Festival on September 18th at Van Saun Park in Paramus
County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of Commissioners, and the County’s Division of Senior Services under the Department of Human Services invite the public to the County’s Annual Senior Picnic Festival in the Park which will be held on Thursday, September 18th at Van Saun Park in Paramus, N.J. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
BERGEN COUNTY COMMEMORATES 24TH ANNIVERSARY OF SEPTEMBER 11
Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco III and the Bergen County Board of Commissioners hosted a solemn remembrance ceremony in honor of the 24th anniversary of the attacks on 9/11, on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Bergen County 9/11 Monument in Overpeck County Park- Henry Hoebel Area.
BERGEN COUNTY 2026 HISTORY GRANT PROGRAM NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The Bergen County Department of Parks, Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs, announces the 2026 Bergen County History Grant Funding Program. The 2026 grant cycle is for history projects or programs taking place January 1 through December 31, 2026.
