BERGEN COUNTY TO CUT RIBBON ON NEW PASSAIC AVENUE BRIDGE IN LODI

WHAT: Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco III, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners, and Lodi Mayor Scott Luna will hold a ceremonial ribbon cutting to celebrate the reopening of the new Passaic Avenue Bridge in Lodi.

The event marks the completion of a $3.8 million project to replace the 121-year-old bridge originally constructed in 1903 during President Theodore Roosevelt’s administration. The new bridge features wider travel lanes, ADA-compliant sidewalks, and modern flood resilience measures, ensuring a safer and more reliable crossing for the nearly 10,000 vehicles that use it daily.
