North Jersey’s Premier Summer Destination Returns for Another Season!
Open Weekends Starting Memorial Day Weekend
Daily Operation Starts June 19 through Labor Day
MAHWAH, N.J. – County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of Commissioners, and the County Parks Department are excited to announce the return of the swim season at The Lakes at Darlington! Additionally, the beloved Wibit Splash Zone inflatable obstacle course makes its comeback with some new additions in the upper lake.
“The swim season at Darlington has always been one of the most exciting times of the year in Bergen County, and we’re thrilled especially for this year’s run,” said Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco. “We’ve worked to improve several parts of the beaches and lakes to offer guests a refreshing experience that families can enjoy together, so don’t miss out on another season of affordable, family-friendly summer fun!”
“Few things signal the start of summer in Bergen County like opening day at The Lakes at Darlington,” said Commissioner Chairman Steve Tanelli. “We’re proud to welcome families back this Memorial Day weekend to enjoy a refreshed park experience, safe swimming, and affordable recreation right here at home.”
The swimming lakes at Darlington County Park will be open every weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sunday, June 14. The Lakes will then be open daily starting Friday, June 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Labor Day, September 7.
Darlington County Park and the Wibit Splash Zone at Darlington Lake accept cash payments as well as all major credit cards. Park entry and Wibit Splash Zone sessions are available for in‑person purchase only. Beginning June 19, advanced online purchasing will be available exclusively for weekday Wibit Splash Zone sessions.
