What to Expect When You Contact Us
When you reach out to us—whether by phone or in person—you’ll find a space rooted in compassion, respect, and safety. We know how difficult it can be to take that first step, and we’re here to walk with you at your own pace. Our trained staff will always first make sure you are in a safe space to speak with us and may ask you for information to help us assist you as best as possible. You may decline to answer any questions and you may end the call at any time.
What can you expect from us:
- Compassionate, nonjudgmental support, no matter your situation.
- Patience and presence as you share what you’re comfortable with, when you’re ready.
- Honesty about available resources, options, and limitations.
- Responsiveness to your needs, while also balancing the safety you and the wider community.
What we invite from you:
- Bring your whole self—as you are.
- Share only what you’re ready to. There’s no pressure to tell us everything.
- Let us know your boundaries, and trust that we’ll honor them.
- Come as you are—we’ll meet you there.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. Just reaching out is a powerful start.
