Educational Programs

BCDHS is pleased to offer PreK-12 educational programming and teacher professional development workshops designed to support engaging, standards-based educational experiences for Bergen County students and educators.
We offer a wide array of environmental, public health, sustainability, space, and general science topics throughout the year. Programs may be tailored to meet audience, curriculum, accessibility, and scheduling needs.
All educational programs are aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Programs are developed using principles of Universal Instructional Design (UID) to support accessible, engaging, and inclusive educational experiences for diverse learners and community audiences.
Educational programs are designed to be flexible and may be modified to support varying grade levels, curriculum goals, accessibility needs, and audience experience.
