Teen Arts Festival

The Bergen County Teen Arts Festival, sponsored by the Bergen County Department of Parks, Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs, is a celebration of the alliance of the arts and youth. It is founded on the belief that the arts are an essential and indispensable means of self-expression for our students.

Students participate in a full day of workshops in all the arts disciplines, including creative writing, dance, music, theater, visual arts, and video, led by artists in myriad fields at many levels.

Through critiqued performances and exhibits, Teen Arts showcases the extraordinary talents of our middle and high school students and their teachers.

History

Beginning in 1975, the Teen Arts Festival has served over 145,000 students, teachers, and administrators over the years. A huge thank you to everyone involved for helping to make the Bergen County Teen Arts Festival one of the best festivals in the state. We look forward to many more years of exemplary festivals in our county.

Enrollment in the festival is by school district within Bergen County. Please email TeenArts@bergencountynj.gov with any questions.
